ADPRO GOES LIVE ON THE WALL

New Video Wall provides live video displays from multiple sites simultaneously

(Hemel Hempstead, September 2007) Xtralis has launched the ADPRO Video Wall, a new technology that helps maximise the potential of remotely monitored CCTV installations by providing live video displays from multiple ADPRO-equipped sites simultaneously.

“Many existing Video and Alarm Transmission systems use single operator screens to view alarm events and random viewing patrols,” explains Jeff Kitching, Sales Director for ADPRO. “But sometimes it is necessary to increase the level of security for short periods to combat potential threats that may disrupt normal business; however the cost of providing a temporary guard is expensive and they are not always available at short notice.

“ADPRO Video Wall is a new way to provide all your remote video monitoring requirements and immediate real time monitoring of remote site cameras without interfering with normal operator working.”

ADPRO Video Wall provides operators with multiple camera views on up to 16 monitors and each monitor can be arranged to have a single camera view or up to 20 split screen views. Using the simple method of drag and drop the operator can select any or every camera from a site and position it on the wall. Configuration settings and Video Wall views can be saved or locked for later recall as required.

Any alarm from a site that is displayed on the wall is automatically brought to the operator’s attention and returned to the wall when the alarm has been dealt with.

“ADPRO Video Wall together with ADPRO FastTrace or ADPRO FastTrace TX can provide all these monitoring features from any and every site regardless of what CCTV equipment is installed,” Jeff continues.

“By installing ADPRO Video Wall in your Monitoring Centre you will clearly see the difference - all the time!”
