Removable Video Data Cassette

Professional Digital Recording Solutions

For applications that require huge archiving periods combined with the option of immediate data retrieval, data is sent from your digital recorder to the storage unit.

There are 6 large disks in one ‘tape’; when you have filled 6 disks (or after an archiving time, e.g. a month), or in the event of an emergency, simply remove the ‘tape’ by pulling out the draw. After removing your draw, put in another one, and you are ready to store data again.

Months of recordings instantly removed!

Tecton have developed a solution for applications that require long archiving times for your digital recorders.
The High Volume Data Storage Unit is only 1U, but contains six large hard drives in each draw, capable of several months worth of recording.

Easy to remove, you can take out one draw and quickly put another one in. Instant data retrieval and an UNLIMITED archiving period!

Ideal for applications such as: Police sites, Government institutions, Town Centres & Transport networks.

Record and store images and audio together for months or even years! Originally developed for use by the Police in their custody suites where the customer wished to retain video and audio recordings for one year.

Each cassette can hold a massive 6TB, capable of recording for months per draw. This product can be used in many other applications.
