What with all the build up to the big event, followed by four days of half marathon wanderings in the halls, and an almost endless supply of publicity material to sift through after the event, I've finally managed to put together an IFSEC 2009 CCTV & IP Video Show Review.

I'm not sure if it makes sense, but for anyone that's interested in what's hot and what's not, the report is available as a .pdf download from this address:-

Lots of catching up to do now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Excellent review Doc.

I thought it was one of the most productive shows I have been to in recent years.

Despite it being some what smaller, I still did not get round to all the stands in two days.

I predict a larger exhibition next year!

Ilkie

Thank you for that Ilkie, kind of you to say so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It was good to see you at the show, and I'd agree, despite the suggestions to the contrary, it all came good on the days.

I ended up there everyday, and still only managed to get round perhaps half the CCTV / IP Video exhibitors. That said, I actually found this perhaps the most positive and productive show I can remember in a very long time, and given that I'm not a great fan of shows in general, that's saying something.

Now I've just got to catch up, read through a small hillock of literature, and plough my way through more CD / DVD's than I'd normally watch in a lifetime.

Shame they all seem to work in a Mac (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
