London, UK, 2 January 2007 -

JVC's four new Day and Night cameras are true Day and Night cameras. The new models include:

* TK-C925E (AC24V/DC12V)
* TK-C926E (AC220-24V)
* TK-C1530E (AC24V/DC12V)
* TK-C1531EG (AC220-24V)

"In all lighting conditions, these four new cameras produce high-quality images at 540 TVL which is ideal for most surveillance applications including retail, transport, education, healthcare and town centres" comments Yash Patel, Executive Director, CCTV Europe at JVC Professional Europe Ltd.

The cameras have an in-built IR switching function enabling the IR cut filter to automatically switch on or off. As a true Day and Night Camera, they provide colour images during the day and black-and-white images by night for 24-hour operation.

The Super LoLuxTM sensitivity is 0.05 lux in black-and-white mode and 0.4 lux in colour mode. A dynamic focus adjustment system enables a shallow depth of field (high-speed shutter) and simplifies focus adjustment for clearer pictures.

JVC has added an intuitive monitor mode whereby users can select a LCD or CRT display that perfectly matches the camera output.

Other key features include a built-in camera menu, automatic gain control, backlight compensation, C/CS mount lens-compatibility, focus adjust and built-in AUX terminal and power detection.

A user-selectable scene memory incorporated in the TK-C1530E and TK-C1531EG cameras is ideal for applications such as automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) whereby a memory setting can be set to trigger a fast shutter speed.

These cameras also have a Smart Edge Control to raise the clarity of images and focus adjustment for shallow depth of field and privacy masking.
